There are a variety of different golf courses available today, each with their own unique features. We teach at some of the best and most well-maintained golf courses close by. Public golf courses are the cheapest but that doesn't mean your golf practice has to suffer. One of the most important things to consider when choosing a course is the terrain. For example, if you're playing on a course with hilly terrain, you'll want to position the ball in your stance accordingly.  If the ball is in the rough, below your feet or above your feet, we can show you where to position the ball in your stance. This will help you make better contact with the ball and improve your chances of hitting a good shot. Sand traps are the toughest for novice golfers. To assist with this, dig your toes into the sand and play the ball extra ahead on your stance to ensure you hit the sand first. Remember that to hit the ball up, you want to hit the floor. Golf became an interest because people loved using sticks to hit balls. A churchyard gate, a door, a large rock, or a different item often as remote as 12 miles away could serve as the final target area. All early forerunners, though, resembled croquet or billiards or cricket extra than golfing. Many places seem to have invented games like golf. If there have been sticks and items that would be hurtled along, then there has been golfing.
